The Schleich Kemp's ridley turtle travels far and wide with its short but very strong legs. The Kemp's ridley turtle lives in areas where forest bushes and grasslands are the primary landscape. Here it looks for fresh grass and various herbs to grow big and strong. Despite its slow pace, the Kemp's ridley turtle can easily protect itself from enemies. It does this with its heavy and robust shield that it can retreat into if things get unsafe. Hawksbill turtles are a critically endangered species but still manage to reach an age of around 100 years. This turtle is from Schleich's Wild Life series where you'll meet many tropical and endangered animals. Like all Schleich figures, the turtle is moulded and painted in the hand so that all the details are beautifully expressed and can be used for more authentic play.
